Our Services
Three ways to care for a watch
From a straightforward battery renewal to a thorough mechanical restoration — each service is described plainly so you can choose what your watch actually needs.
Back to HomeOur Approach
Assessment before anything else
Before a service is agreed, the watch is examined. We want to understand its condition before committing to a scope — and we want you to understand what we find before you commit to the cost.
This means some watches that arrive expecting a full overhaul leave with a simpler service. And some that arrive for a battery change turn out to need more attention. The assessment is what determines the path.
All service work is carried out in-house. No movements are sent to a third-party facility. This means a more predictable timeline and direct accountability for the result.
Drop-off and intake
The watch is logged with a reference number and photographed. A receipt is issued on the spot.
Written assessment
The movement and case are assessed. Findings and recommended service level are shared in writing before any work begins.
Service work
Once you confirm the scope and cost, the work proceeds. Any unexpected findings prompt a pause and a conversation.
Collection with summary
The completed watch is collected with a printed record of what was done, what was found, and post-service timing results where applicable.
Service 01
Simple Service
Battery renewal, strap care, seal check, and light cleaning for daily-wear timepieces. This is the appropriate starting point for a watch that is keeping reasonable time but needs routine upkeep or a battery change.
- Battery replacement (all common cell types)
- Water-resistance seal inspection and replacement if worn
- Strap or bracelet cleaning and adjustment
- Case and crystal light clean
- Crown and pushers checked for smooth operation
Typical duration
1–2 working days
Best suited to
Quartz daily-wears needing upkeep
Service 02
Movement Care
Cleaning, lubrication, and accuracy adjustment for automatic and manual movements, with a printed summary at collection. This service is suited to watches that are running but showing signs of slow timekeeping, irregular power reserve, or have not been opened in several years.
- Movement disassembly, component cleaning
- Pivot and jewel lubrication with correct-grade oils
- Mainspring replacement if worn or fatigued
- Timing regulation across positions
- Printed service summary with timing results
- Case seal replacement as standard
Typical duration
1–2 weeks
Best suited to
Automatics and hand-winds, 5+ years since last service
Service 03
Complete Restoration
A careful restoration of older mechanical watches, respecting original character while returning steady function. This is the path for pieces that have stopped, suffered damage, or have not run for an extended period. The approach considers the watch's history and does not impose a new appearance on a piece that has earned its age.
- Full movement assessment and restoration plan
- Period-appropriate parts sourcing where required
- Dial and hand assessment — repair or retain as appropriate
- Case and bracelet work at owner's direction
- Detailed written condition report at collection
- Timing verification across positions
Typical duration
Varies — confirmed at assessment
Best suited to
Vintage and older mechanical pieces, non-running watches
